well, ive actually decided against swapping motors cut this one is just so smooth running, and its so big i can use the tank as a seat! plus my friend talked me into using the little motor for the barstool
By: rarebikes88. on 20 Jan 08, 18:38:45

wat are u gona do wit the big motor
By: KartMan250. on 15 Dec 07, 15:36:12
well, i need the jackshaft because of chain alignment, a bigger sprocket on the back would scrape in a turn, so i just run the same ratio but distribute it out with a few extra sprockets. and yes, a front brake would be a very good idea, and i probably will put one on eventually if i find a nice disk setup that is small enough (more importantly, cheap enough!)
By: 4ageminor. on 15 Dec 07, 07:57:33
with 9hp you don't need a jackshaft. I'd put a front brake on it too
