I think the computer they were talking about was the sequencer that they were using. I believe it is one of the few (8) early Roland micocomposer, later to become the MC-8.You see him typing in the notes and note lengths. That sequencer controls the moog system and the other synths by translating the note data to CV.

I've never heard of Yukihiro Takahashi before but I know of Phil Manzanera, Tony Mansfield, and Ryuichi Sakamoto. How could I have not heard this or of Mr. Takahashi back in the 80's? This is great! I listened to the other stuff posted here and it's just as good

I saw Sandii as she supported Japan in 1982. Her music was far more cutting-edge then. This offering is much more on a par with pop/bubble-gum .. twee, but hardly what I was expecting when I hit the play button. Pity because Sandii and the group really did have a different sound in the early 80's, perhaps influenced and inspired by Japan.

You never can quite pick where her albums will appear in a cd shop in Japan - Japanese, Western, pop, alternative, "World Music" - generally only the big stores - HMV or Tower, have anything by her in stock. She has transformed herself more times than Mads - from Japanese synth ethno-pop-princess, to sultry seductress, to Pan-Asian-Goddess, to Pacific (Tahitian and Hawaiian) Hula Honey.
