Since the BBC's advert for iPlayer, this song has been haunting me and will not go away. My car stereo will now filled with beautiful music played over and over. An awesome song wonderfully sung.

-happymonster 240, the lyrics are different in Jeff Buckley's version then in Leonard Cohen's - Jeff Buckley did write some of the lyrics for his cover. I love this cover. In my opinion, this is the best version of the song. Jeff Buckley is a musical splendor and it's very gratifying to hear him play this song specifically. Bravo. Every time I hear it, bravo.

This horrible "artist" uses the same stupid rhyme scheme, trash lyrics, and vague religious implications as he whimpers into the mic. I would feel very bad for him, but he has 5 million views, so I just feel bad for the people without any musical taste who like this. They will probably claim to be "just looking for inspiration" (in lyrics probably written in 5 minutes on a cocktail napkin) in a response to this post. Oh, and I just got to (and hated) the wavering finish and fake ass "wow".
