Usually when I see interviews with bands I notice how painful it sometimes seems for them to answer questions and express themselves. The weird part of the way we promote music is that the business seems to assume that people in bands are articulate and comfortable discussing what they do and why they do it. you can get this version on an early 1987 release on 7" and 12", I have the 7" and got it from ebay, look on the net, Vinyl exchange is great for this type of thing. Brilliant song, this is the best version though, no argument la.

Syd Barrett was predisposed towards "mental illness" whatever that means, due to natural neurotransmittor imbalances or inability to return to balance. Without taking drugs, he would have likely had problems in his life. Good reason why the govt't should legalise all drugs and have some of them, such as LSD available only under prescription. Doctors and individuals would be educated and drug use would be monitored, reducing risk of Syd Barrett syndromes happening.
