I now only wipe my face clean with low-mineral water (e.g. volvic) on cotton wool once or twice a day, and sometimes apply a bit of coconut oil on the NATURALLY GREASY areas, to prevent my skin from getting dry and flaky, and/ or producing even more sebum (which makes acne worse). My skin looks (and feels) healthier than ever. LOADS of money and time saved too. STEAM ROOMS , go to a steam room once a day for a good few weeks , and that should get rid of it all , and then jump in the shower or bath aftwards , dont put anything on the skin , nothing at all , maybe a oil free moisturiser thats it , but putting all these products off the shelves on your skin , will just make it worse , ive tryed nearly everything , trust me , just stick to the steam rooms , ull be alright , and pills off the doctors are crap , they dont work ,

The best cure for acne is the sun. I don't care what people say. The sun heals the skin as long as you are careful. When I was twenty two I was suffering from mild acne. As soon as I was working away in hot climits, they it cleared up. I know this doesn't mean everyone will respond to it, but try a holiday in the sun, see how you get on.

I have been to so many places with awful air or weather which caused bad acne. One Soldier told me about using Tea tree oil bars of soap from the body shop and I tried it and I LOVE it!! I have oily/combo skin and it worked WONDERS!! Use oil-free moisturizers afterwards though! ;)

Right, but in all likelihood they should go away by keeping with what prevents them. The guy had some good stuff here about foods. I've definitely noticed changes after I stopped with all the sodas, gave up drinking milk on the side and added certain vitamins to my diet (vit A, E, Zinc). If you want something more specific to getting rid of them just search in google: Get Rid of Acne and go to the Wikihow page. They have some good stuff there, especially from points 11 and up.

It's a drag for me because my dermatologist of over 20 years, never even suggested stopping consumption of dairy products, once. I was in my 40's before I figured it out. The "kind" dematologists know that because you have to go in for up-keep,(i have to go in every 2 wks) they do not charge very much. DaniDiamondz, I know cystic acne should be looked at by a dermatologist, but I suggest testing witch hazel. It's sort of in an alcohol type bottle usually. (Around in the same section also.) Drug stores carry it for sure, but I've found it in Wal*Mart, Target and some dollar stores. Despite the odd name, if you never heard of it, it's worth a shot. Good luck, Dekae

I read a website about it that explained in detail what foods you need and why, I did the diet, lost my acne, my insomnia, my mood shifts, a bit of weight, my slugglishness and my depression. Well it wasn't EXACTLY that diet, in fact it was even more extreme. The only problem was it wasn't practical and I stopped it. I've never liked that cleanser either! I even bought it twice over the years because it felt so good and it said it was a "deep action" cleanser, but it isn't. Wouldn't even take my make-up off. I use Clean & Clear still, but it's "Morning Burst" and it isn't a cream. Takes all my make-up off and keeps me from getting those 2 or 3 monthly pimples. Also, there are shampoo's infused with Tea Tree Oil for dandruff and it is supposed to work wonders. :)

Thanks for having this video review. This helps me a lot for future references. I use to wash my face with that clean and clear stuff but I never liked it, now I'm just using something the dermatologist prescribed me to. Oh-and the mascara, I've always considered about buying that same one because it's "the number 1 mascara", and it's cheap. Well I'm Asian too and I myself have short thin lashes, so because of this video, I will not go out and buy it! Thank you!!

i love tea tree oil, i put it all over my face at night, but you have to watch out for the really cheap ones, tea tree oil should be oily/liquidy, i just got some from super drug mart and it is more like a gell, i don't like it, it seems to work okay but it's very thick and castor oil like. so if use tea tree oil make sure it's a really good quality from melaleauca or the body shop, even wal mart is okay but make sure you try it out on your hand before you waste your money.

That mascara may not be so great, but I had the same problem with trying to find a nice one. One would be too clumpy, another you could barely see on your lashes. But I've been using Maybelline Full and Soft waterproof mascara, and it is great! I have been using it for a couple of years now probably. Thats my recommendation.

I used to have cystic acne. I've been on a BCP to help control it for the past 7 years. Cystic acne runs on my dad's side of the family. One of my uncles has major scarring due to it and I have some as well. My cousin had to go on a BCP as well to help control her breakouts. This video was really informative.

really good advice... I had the same oral treatment and till your interior cleans totally out of the drug it will be like that. The difference is it did no good for me: many years after, I still have cystic acne, and gets really wooorse after stressfull periods in life, so I suppose the truth is Acne is all about hormones, even though no one of the blood exams i had showed any unbalance (i think its because its the traditional exam, not all exams are proper to showing some problems)

I think I have same issues with my skin as you. I found that putting on good night cream on at night before going to sleep, it actually helps even out the oily flow. It makes my skin feel like it doesn't need a cleanse in the morning if I do that vs no night cream = oily slick. sounds like you need a good cleanser that doesn't dry out skin (so not for oily skin type) and a great moisturizer, moisture is important so spend the extra buck and get a good one. Oh yeah and don't forget to exfoliates that dry dead skin just make sure it is a gentle one. advise from a licensed professional (fyi)

My face scars easily as well. My twin sister had a mole on her face removed and was given a cream called Biafine to get rid of the scar. They gave her SO much...so we discovered that it worked amazingly well for acne scarring. I mean...it was extreme! In a couple of weeks, the scars are gone! Hope that helps, though I believe it's for prescription only.

you guys have to give this a try .. the best and the cheapest way to clear acne, the only one that cleared my skin after the first use. ok to make it short .. wet a washcloth .. with hot water, not super hot to where it's gonna burn u but pretty hot. put it over ur face for a few seconds untill it cools, wet it again and repeat. follow by moisturizer. do so once in the morning and once at night. the one thing that worked for me, zeno is based on the same theory(heat kills bacteria)

I bought EVERY beauty care and makeup product that would "help" my acne until I went to a famous dermatologist and he told me to really "cure acne" it starts from inside (diet, water intake, exercise, sleep, and medications)-then you can focus on your beauty products and lastly the makeup products. I had really bad acne and Perscriptives flawless skin foundation really helped me and you can build on it instead of using a separate concealer plus its non comedogenic and it doesn't feel like a mask when you have a lot on like mac can plus if its really bad you can also use the compact foundation over that and have as close to a flawless face as possible - hope that helps:)
