um u are very wrong , ak 47 are leagal both types full auto and semi. But full auto you have to be registered as a full auto gun owner get finger prints and they do a vey extencive background check. The semi autos are much easyer to buy. you just buy it at a store that sells them, they do a background check and thats it. dont worry the semi auto ak is as danguruse as any other semi automatic rifle

Heh, ask any man in Finland and he is propably able to dismantle and assemble that weapon. We use in our army the RK62 variant, which has a bit different sight and stock, but otherwise the same. And yeah, every guy here has to go to army :( It's the coolest thing in the world to fire it for the first time, but after couple months you wish you'd never have to see the damn thing again. But it's reliable and you could sink it to sand or mud and it still worked (I tried couple times :)

the ak was never intended to be accurate, accuracy is wasted in full auto mode, instead it was made to spray bullets for a larger coverege area hence does not need a good marksman to shoot it, remember large amounts of consripts in ww2 red army

the kalasnikov is an exellent firearm, although it isn't as accurate as a modern rifle, it is however still one of the most powerful automatics out there, it can penetrate brick, wood pretty much any common material or structure eg, house wall (these days they are built with single layer bricks a wooden frame & plaster board..) i have had the pleasure of fireing out of one of these & they got pure raw power, still till this it is my favourite automatic....

M16:good at long range,ok at dmging,easy to shoot the right target,but not that mush dming indeed. AK-47: Pack a punch of the dmg,could kill some one like 1-5,but the range is bad and hard to aim the right target your going to. so both of them are good weapons

As a former Marine I do prefer the M16 over the AK47.Even if the AK47 is much simpler weapon (Hence why criminals always use one) its also a MUCH MUCH LESS accurate weapon. And the AK47 also has more recoil then a M16 hence why the M16 is more accurate. Not that the AK47 is a terrible weapon just not as good as the M16.

I disagree. Mine shoots great and straight. Never had a jam or misfire either. The M16 is very picky and is a jam machine (especially the early ones and current training ones that are abused). None of that is a concern with the AK. It can have rotted wood and rust on the bolt with a rusty old mag wobbling all over the place and it will still shoot great. Simple, easy to take care of, never break, and ammo is dirt cheap.

In Vietnam, some US soldiers put condoms at the tips of the rifles to keep any dirt out, because the smallest amount would make it jam. They cleaned their rifle more than they washed their hands. dude you might as well keep it at that fps because most if not all matches only allow a gun to be up to 350 fps. You should buy a red dot scope for quicker targeting and a forgrip (if your m4 has rails) for a more comfortable hold.
