i tryed downloading the newest demo Auto-Tune Evo and after dowloading it gives me something like "if you have already purchased Auto-Tune Evo, click 'iLok' to authorize it. Other wise, click 'Quit' to use auto-tune for up to 10 days in demo mode." i select "Quit". Nothing happens. How do i still use it without the time running out. so lost.

Ok - the banning of handguns is the reason our forefathers wrote the Second Amendment. Banning handguns would be illegal according to the Supreme Court. A ban on handguns would result in the removal of any elected federal officials that call for this action. What if? Just to make a point for debate, let's say handguns are banned. I hate to say this but then wouldn't banning personal hand guns or weapons solve this problem? Sure people will get guns no matter what, but the chances of obtaining assault rifles, Hand guns, explosives, and so on would be more difficult and costly. That would ensure no youth or retard has easy access. In Toronto we have shootings, but sadly the guns come from the states. If not for your laws we probably won't see any hand guns here at all. Rifles are legal for hunting with strict licensing

Mighty, I disagree. You shoot somebody with a shotgun anywhere in their body, they're probably dead. You shoot them in the leg even, it'd blow off most of the leg and the person would bleed to death. Not the same for a semi automatic pistol. I agree, it's not the best combat gun ever. Which gives it an odd, indefinable irrelevance. It is a close range killing machine. That's the only thing it's good for.

Chris, No, not at all. I do not support a gun ban. I believe that people have the right to keep and bear arms...for hunting, home protection, and target shooting. But...I draw a distinction between a hunting or target gun and a combat weapon like this gun here. A shot gun, rifle or hand gun are perfectly reasonable and adequate for each of these tasks. But an automatic shotgun? This gun has one practical purpuse...it is a killing machine. A combat weapon. And it belongs in combat.

However, this conversation isn't about shotgun versus handgun. It is about automatic shotgun versus handgun. A shotgun is the best home defence weapon. For the majority of the population that gets their homes broken into, a pistol is not the best. Most people will be scared and fire off a whole clip without even realizing and not aim at their target. I dont see how there could not be layoffs. Although the 3 companies are big, a vast majority of their vehicles are essentially THE SAME VEHICLE with a different body and nameplate [Chevy Tahoe, GMC Yukon, H2 Hummer, Cadillac Escalade]. The 3 need to downsize themselves and focus on vehicle quality over quantity. They should have sent UAW leaders to ask for help instead of the CEOs of the big 3 flying in their private jets... UAW union leader negotiate dpretty good contracts with GM/Ford/Chrysler they would have done a bettre job asking for help here too... At least there would have been more sympathy for the UAW working men&Women who's jobs are really on the line here.
