a beautifull summer song. and reminissing of last summer . i have 4 year old and 2 year old daughters who both still ask for 'the beach song' in the car, best place i herd this song, driving in jersey, along st ouens beach (its 5 miles long)and the road a bit longer, after not being there for 10 years. in the sun with all the windows down and roof open, even though the car has air con!! blasting away and thinking of when i herd it when i was a kid!! happy days.

It was never truly 'live'. Did anybody care? No. Would it have been more 'honest' to do perfect synching and 'pretend'? Incidentally, the idea that drugs make you 'honest' is a joke in itself. They just f*** you up. In Brian's case, they all but destroyed his fantastic artistic judgment and damaged him forever.

Good Vibrations was the first psychedelic masterpiece but this performance is a FAKE and a disgrace! The B Boys' lip-synching and phony playing is the worse I have seen. After all the LSD Brain Wilson took, one would have expected him to be more honest instead of doing this phony, silly crap for the plastic Hollywood music business machine. Maybe they were too wasted to care. I saw Brian perform GV a few years ago and he was absolutely brilliant, but this is horrible.
