Granted this video isnt very good, Its really only him blasting and going nuts on the double bass, but nevertheless, Frost is my favorite drummer for the fact that, in my opinion he is the most creative, listen to some of the fills he does in the second half of the vid. What other drummer would do a fill like that? Pretty much every 1349 album has influenced me beyond words. Same goes for Satyricon's Shadowthrone and Nemesis Divina.

What's so hard about playing that song on drums? Just because it has a few more drum rolls in it? Most black metal drummers will own a mainstream drummer like The Rev. The Rev is alright, but he's a band that isn't nearly as intense as any Black Metal band. Alot of mellow rhythms.

No, it's not. In that sentence, "does not a good drummer" is refering to "make," rather than "speed." In essence, what you stated in that sentence is that a good drummer does not make speed. To correct the sentence (partially), make should be placed between "not" and "a." "Speed does not make a good drummer" and "Speed does not a good drummer make" are saying two entirely different things. It's not antiquated, just wrong. Still understood what you meant though, and I agree =)
