lucky in asia....we have original hummer chasis all we need to do is rebuild it, we have one shop here that has all original hummer parts they just replace it with different engine, like light truck diesel engine re-do the 4x4 for example and i tell you the thing is a friggin monster. however, there is a hummer 2 or 3 i guess for sale here, been sitting in the dealers for months now, nobody wants it LOLZ, the re-assembled ones that i mentioned, has been selling off like pancakes.

I used to have that exact same hummer and glad i changed it for a range rover, it was horrible, they are terrible off road, the body stresses a lot, the brakes rub and the steering is shaky plus you only get about 7 to the gallon off road, i held the tyre inflator swith on too long and all four tyres blew up when i was on the freeway trying to push past 55mph, its the worst and cheapest put together 4x4 ever built and worst of all, the paint scratches easy h1 h2 and h3 are a load of rubbish

Most of the time its drivers error that causes the vehicles to get stuck no matter what the emblem may say. Nowadays there arent many hummers that dont have some rich city punk ass in the seat. Have to agree with skrm2, the H2 and H3 sucks bigtime this are just another regular SUV chassis slap with hummer emblems, a disgrace to the H1 if you ask me,and the H1 could have easily tackle that loose rubble with the gas and brake technique. the H1 just needs a better driver one who knows how to drive an original hummer. plus H1 are alot tougher,but dont get me wrong I also like jeeps. we use to own one, now switch to a landrover. :)

Exactly. The Torsen diff in the H1 *can* let a wheel spin, but that's why the military trains drivers to use the "brake trick". This guy didn't use (know about?) the trick. Use the brakes a little, the free spinning wheel will stop and power will go to the other wheel.
