Ah, yes you are right. It seemed through your hostility in your earlier posts that you contested my statement of the lack of drinkable water in poorer regions. I see now that your agression is due to my failure of acknowledging that using ocean water won't affect areas with limited availability to water negatively. I misunderstood your earlier claim but persisted in trying to prove you wrong based on a statement you didn't make. For this I apologize.
By: trentcreek. on 29 Nov 08, 20:01:26
Oh it does not have anything to do with it??? How much does it cost to get water out of your faucet compared to fuel? 3/4 of the planet is water, not oil. What would it take to just put a pump on the coasts and start pumping and piping it for energy? NOTHING
By: freakiq. on 29 Nov 08, 18:59:59
Again with the insults, do you lack basic communication skills? I never said you made a statement I merely observed that your question had nothing to do with our discussion. How petrol is transported has nothing to do with drinkable water since it is commonly transported over the ocean which isn't a natural source for drinking water unless you have the means to deionise it on a large scale which poor low tech communities have no means to do.
By: trentcreek. on 29 Nov 08, 04:52:04
wow..you are really dense headed. I make a question, not a statement

A water powered car probably costs as much as 10 years of gas. I want one of those torches though.
By: freakiq. on 21 Nov 08, 11:42:26
What's that got to do with anything? Since when did I mention petrol?
By: trentcreek. on 21 Nov 08, 10:45:17
Great..finally. Since there is so much water in the world. How else do you think petrol gets around the world? carry it on their backs?
By: freakiq. on 21 Nov 08, 09:50:57
Ignorant means uninformed, having a lack of knowledge. If you think I'm so lacking in my grasp of english I'd like to see you continue this argument in swedish and see how well that goes for you. You won't even adress the original issue, you are merely questioning my knowledge, let me know when you get tired of mudslinging and want a real discussion.
By: trentcreek. on 21 Nov 08, 00:12:54
Do yourself and others a favor and look up the word IGNORANT, then get back to me
By: freakiq. on 20 Nov 08, 18:37:50
Yeah, calling me ignorant is such a difference, sorry for not keeping track of your insults. Btw, you can search the web for "dying of thirst", there are several articles about wells drying out or ceasing to work leaving people to die. Throwing insults around won't make anything better.
By: trentcreek. on 20 Nov 08, 18:31:35
You are an idiot if you cannot even bother to know know the meaning of words, especially since I never called you one.
By: freakiq. on 20 Nov 08, 18:29:51
Yeah I bet every village in the poorest parts of Africa living in huts made of dried shit can afford to send trucks back and forth to the nearest ocean. In many places people have to walk for miles to the nearest well just to get water drink. If a well dries out people die. People die of thirst, it's a fact. Calling me an idiot just beacuse you believe african families have the budget of a walmart won't change that.
By: trentcreek. on 20 Nov 08, 16:48:06
No, you were not joking about your ignorance. Well ghee, most of the US does not live near China, but every Walmart seems to have plenty of Chinese manufactured goods.
By: freakiq. on 20 Nov 08, 11:21:12
What good is that if you don't live close to the ocean? Why do I even bother if you are too stupid to understand not everyone lives next to the ocean?
By: trentcreek. on 20 Nov 08, 10:32:27
Rivers?? Most water are in oceans! Who need fresh water? Get real
By: freakiq. on 20 Nov 08, 10:29:57
Lots of people in poor countries die of thirst when rivers dry out, just because you have access to unlimited amounts of tap water doesn't mean everyone has.
By: trentcreek. on 19 Nov 08, 23:46:17
Are you really that ignorant, or just joking?
By: raconter1. on 19 Nov 08, 15:45:25

Honda has it's first Hydrogen powered car in production. And it only gives off water vapor as the exhaust! How's that for environmentally friendly?
By: freakiq. on 19 Nov 08, 01:05:37
Not everyone lives near a river or coast. Also, I'd like to see you drink saltwater.
By: JupiterJazzjaa2. on 18 Nov 08, 20:42:50
It doesn't matter anyways. Water naturally vaporizes and then condenses back to water in the atmosphere. So we would never run out.
By: jaynice917. on 11 Nov 08, 18:54:41
its funny how a couple months ago people were saying gas will eventually hit 10 dollars when it was only like 4.50, and im in california and it dropped to like 2.25...they only raise prices by choice in my opinion, it could be 1.50 if they wanted to, they just want more money
By: Vintage772. on 08 Nov 08, 10:28:47
