This is good. Installing Oracle on Windows is easy, but I don't know of any DBA that installs it on a 32-bit Windows (much less Vista). Most install it on a 64-bit Linux distro. This takes changes to kernel parameters, addition of new users and groups, dependency installs and tons of other command line alterations. Once you do all this, then you can start the actual installation (which is what you saw). Plus there is configuration of RAC, reallocation of data files. Funny video though.

where did you hear about this? I can see a lot better than I used to since I installed a 10,000k system under my hood. I doubt that many of the local cops even know what an HID Conversion Kit is. I know that HIDs are much more strictly enforced in England, but I haven't heard of anything from the NHTSA. Please let me know where you found out that info...

any hid kit is illegal and will not be an improvement but it would rather give you the "bling-bling" look. The garbage this guy put on his car is illegal and according to the NHTSA, they will crack down and summons fines up to 5,000 dollars... BTW, if you go above 5,000K on hid's and you're looking to see better, you're just wasting your hard-earned money.

You're not really aware of what you are saying.Your current M50 engine produces about 245-250 Nm of torque, which is needed by the weight. The F20C engine has only 207-220 Nm, though 240-250 PS. The car in the vid had an M40 1.8 engine, which really is scarce for the E36. Even compared to a turbo 1.8, the F20C is the better choice. But not in your case. If you want to mod, try the intake, if the M20 could bare it, so can the M50. And rather be happy having a car (moreover, a BMW!) with 20yrs...

Best part of this video is.... The push pins part...that was not even all the way in. Crappy Intel video refuses to show how much of a pain it really is to get those damn push pins in. I only sound like I know what I am talking about because I worked for a company that assembled cell phones and they used Electrostatic Discharge countermeasures. There, they never had 'wirelesss' wrist straps. The straps they used were always grounded to the workstations. That and we wore ESD smocks and boot straps. My guess and it is a complete guess, is that the 'wirelss' straps should not be used.

No, the gloves are mainly to keep oils from skin off of parts, though it does help a little with static. You would/should still use a wrist strap as well. The guys smock also prevents static buildup/discharge as well. I even bet he has some anti static boot straps as well.

What parts do you need? The only thing proprietary in the Inspiron 530 in the case and motherboard (BTX form factor). Everything else you can buy anywhere that sells computer parts. However, the 530s (slim case design)has to use a LOW PROFILE video card. A regular sized video card will not fit in the slim case.

Short answer here is yes, but it can be difficult to set the grinder to the proper height to account for the floor in some cases. There are powered versions of a typical hand jamb saw available, but if you're fairly confident with your skills with an angle grinder it should work out for you.

Some laminate will have problems with water, all laminate is not equal!!! The problem is so huge Im not going to get into it now. If you have had water problems. Plank replacment is the only way to get it back to 100%. The laminate should have been glued in the water areas in the first place. If you go to a local hardware store,NOT! Homedepot or Lowes. You can get a wood filler from DEP to match the laminate in a tube. Its very easy to work with and will hide most of the problem.

I bought some laminate wood flooring installed it with no problems then my stupid dog spilled his bowl of water and the laminate expanded and bubbled up on the edges. I went to home depot to ask about a seal but the guy told me that they come sealed and that I did not need one, I found this paste that said is a seal but I am not sure how to apply it and I can't seem to find any info on it. This particular installation was done over a wood subfloor so there was no need for a moisture barrier. Cork underlayment does not need to be glued down with a floating installation. Over concrete, install your moisture barrier, tape up the seams, then lay out your cork underlayment (taping the corners together helps quite a bit), then begin installing your laminate.
