i actually know her. i went to a dance competition, Hollywood Vibe, a few years ago and she was like a demonstrator or something... and it was really cool! i was so excited when i found out she made it. i was seriously yelling I KNOW HER!!! I KNOW HER!!

She was my favorite once I saw her, and still my favorite on the show. She was still a great dancer on the show, but I think she was just given crap choreography much of the time, and paired with someone that wasn't a good match. She is an AMAZING dancer, I have watched her for the past year or so. I wish I could dance like her.

Fantastic, fantastic, FANTASTIC. It's a shame that she just couldn't put it together on the show. Very tough for tall girls to do well I think though... nonetheless one fo the best auditions ever.

All 3 of her routines were brilliant in different ways, but this is a Contemporary dance with 2 Contemporary dancers, and "The Garden" is a Jazz dance with 2 Jazz dancers, so they'd obviously have batter technique than a Contemporary dance by a Breaker and a Ballroom dancer.

I do sort of agree with that comment. Mattie dances so upright, but I love that about him. I think it's a good thing with Mattie...where it wouldn't work for someone else. But...I think it does have a lot more to do with how tall he is. I mean, c'mon....6'3?! That's huge for a dancer...but it completely works for him. I love Mattie and Kourtni. They left too early.

The choreography was fun, but M&K were just not into it. I am thinking that they are suffering from exhaustion. They are great dancers, but what happened here? Dancers mUSt work intimately with the choreographers and be open to new ways of movement. I felt as if M&K were just repeating the routine without any passion. Their hip hop routine was much better. I think that M&K were bummed that they could not identify with hip hop or mambo culture to express better the dance. LOVE M&K. God bless.

I agree! Matt and Kourtni are my two fav. dancers on the show this year! I'll be so heartbroken and mad if they leave. They're having some really bad luck with the styles and choreography, and then all the bad comments are starting to get to them, you can tell. I voted tons for these two last night. I hope everyone else did as well! :/ I have to say, this one was better than their hip-hop. I loved it! Matt was a real surprise! I

Actually they weren't even in the bottom 3 after this performance. Susie and Marquis went home this week. They went home after their Mambo in week 4. Which sucked, I liked them better than Comfort and Thayne, even though I liked both of them, too.

Oh god I thought Matt's slip was a part of the choreography! To go in sync with the lyrics "had me low" so I totally didn't even notice that. I think Matt is gorgeous and has such great strength in his dancing. Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers would have been proud of this.

Matt is so HOT!!!!! And Kourtni was kind of awkward during this competition. She's got a unique look, but her movement makes it seem like she's not comfortable with her height, especially with heels. She's a bit heavy on her dancing and it looks kind of clumsy, especially next to Matt who dances like he's on clouds. He's way tall, but you never feel it because he's so smooth and light on his feet. She brought him down!

Gah, the choreography really wasn't that great, and as much as I like her Kourtni is just not a hip-hop dancer. Matt did good, not amaaazing or anything but good. That's not enough to save the dance though. This disappointed me because I wanted to see them go farther :/

I don't feel that Kourtni should've went home, but I feel as though it was her time. I have to agree with GRomance0804, she didn't have the fight that Comfort and other girls have on the show. So it was just her time but it isn't the end for her at all! I agree that they got screwed on their routines. Also, I felt that the judges were biased towards them because of their height. It kept coming up, and it just kept pissing me off. I guess us tall people just need to stick to swimming, basketball, walking the runway and getting crap off of ledges for people! Apparently in those areas height isn't an issue.

sorry for being a little harsh there lol.i guess i am really sick and tired of everyone comparing all the girls to shauna because, i never thought that shauna was the best female dancer at all.she was great and unique and so is everyone else.i think there are many dancers that are better than that girl and have better personalities that just make them more loveable.shauna was great but, she wasn't all the shiz imo.

OMG shauna is not better than EVERYONE.i'm sick and tired of ppl comparing all of the female contemporary dancers to shauna because,if everyone danced like shauna then the competition would be boring.this solo was amazing.nothing more to say!!...sheesh!! =)

She did more than just tricks and shit that filled the space, she danced. She listened for the subtleties in the music and she moved her body accordingly. Her staccato movements in the middle section were brilliant and infinitely better than the majority of things we've seen form the girls on this program so far this year. She didn't do 8 fouette's like Courtney did,but she didn't 8 busted and ugly fouette's like Courtney did either...she danced within her means and she did so brilliantly.

okay....i agree that comfort couldn't do the other stuff, but she was phenomenal at hip hop. you obviously didn't see the hip hop routines that she was in. her solos weren't that great, but who says that every dancer has to be great at choreography?

i think kourtni is amazing as a dancer.. she's just not versatile enough... she struggled doing hiphop. that's all. that doesnt take anything away from her talent though.. hope she continues to learn other dance genres.. she surely will kill it.
