It is dumb, but only because the people who were drilling ought to have checked if there were hazards beneath; clearly that didn't happen here. After all, the diameter of the drill bit was only 14", the odds of drilling into a mine are pretty astronomical. This is an ecological disaster; these seem pretty common these days, like the Great Pacific Landfill for example.

Dude if you listen to the commentator at 4:17 into the video, he says the canal from the Gulf of Mexico flowed for 2 days and filled the lake. Knowing that the Gulf of Mexico contains salt water (ocean), and the lake now contains water from the ocean,leads me to believe this is why the wateris salty.

No, not at all. I don´t think it was enhanced. I just think it was played in D-major but inadvertently recorded in such a way that reproduces the recording in E-flat major (1/2 tone higher). I do however hear that ELP on this video played this at a faster tempo than on their original recording on the Trilogy album. Could you maybe send a copy of the 1974 version? I´d be curious to hear that. Cheers .-)

I know what your saying, the fingers are real. If you watch them you´ll see that Keith starts the tune with an A rising via portamento an octave to the next A. That´s the 5th degree of the D major key. But what we are actually hearing is E-flat, this is a descrapancy in the recording at the time. Still a fantastic performance though. Cheers, IAN :-)

Y yes...tuvieron sus altos y sus bajos y como agrupacion tienen muy muy buenas canciones. Hay un documental por ahi que habla de ambas bandas en paralelos como cabezas de la evolucion del prog rock. Rick Wakeman obstinado de grabar Onion y Jon obstinante con su esoterismo. ELP con una sinfonica dando vueltas pero a lo largo de la discografia de cada uno me quedo con el trio.

This is probably one of the best ballets I've seen. I normally get bored watching ballet because some of the moves are so repetitive. I don't know. It may be the style I'm watching or the level of difficulty.

I've noticed a lot of ignorant comments made here. While I can't address them all, some really irked me. I've seen comments on the dancers being too "chunky" or even "fat" Honestly, if they were too fat do you think they would be doing pointe? Certainly not. Another, something about it lines and not circles. Every ballet is different. Otherwise it will become dull. Each troupe must make it their own and add their own style. Art is art people, if it were rigid then it wouldn't be art.

Yes, he was your typical handsome man, but he also portrayed Darcy(a powerful man) as being..a bit shy - an enticing element to the whole alluring Darcy character, of which ingredients are as follows...handsome + power(means protection/security) + shyness (sensitivity) + adhering to a woman = a walking DREAM.
