trying to answer your question, your headache could be somehow normal depending on the number of take offs and flights you've experienced. i am a glider pilot and during my first 10 flights or so, I've been experiencing headache and a bit of nausea, but later i found that it was kinda normal due to the fact that the brain was not familiar with the new sensation of "not holding on to something stable" such as walking on earth. later that proved to go away so don't worry. you should be fine :)

I think the best thing to do is try a trial lesson when you're a little older perhaps. I'm sure you'll be fine once you're at the front and seeing what's going on. However as previously stated it might be worth getting checked out medically. It is good to be at least concerned when flying, as it makes you more prepared for when things go wrong!

its not really a headache to be honest... i get sweaty and a tiny bit dizzt... not too dizzy to distract me from anything though. i think it might be because i get nervois at take off, which may sound weird coming from a kid who wants to be a pilot... but the idea of that huge and heavy thing going up in the air like that and accending seems like a miracle to me!

Depends what it is causing the headaches. It could just be the dry air and the reduced pressure, in which case a change of diet may sort it out. Best to get your doctor to go through it, you'll need a medical to fly anyway. Good luck with the flying buddy.

The flight starts at leeds city centre market. You can see the red and yellow roofs of the outside market stalls. The flightpath crosses from the city centre across headingley towards horsforth hawksworth cookridge and then obviously the airport. if you was looking out of the left side you could see LUFC rom the city centre. But it does fly over headingly rugby grounds

The doctor told me at age 35 that I needed to get on statins so did that for 10 years. I was never comfortable with these drugs even though they made the blood tests look good. Taking statins became a crutch and I would justify overeating and foods that were unhealthy. I now take several natural supplements, exercise daily, and struggle with managing portion sizes and snacking too much. My blood tests are almost in normal range though not as good as with statins and I feel better overall.

People really need to understand why cholesterol is so amazing and why our bodies need to make it in such huge quantities. The work of F W Pfrieger on the use of cholesterol by brain (glial) cells is a good place to start. Role of lipoproteins in immunological and maintenance processes, fat soluble transport systems etc. Cholesterol is a vital chemical with no concept of good/bad morality!

In Primary Prevention is what this issue, each person saved from a heart attack is costing a death due to side effects ALS, Rhabdo etc. In secondary pevention it has some effect for a period... But there is a still a price to pay eventually and changing the cause of death is not good enough. Interesting. However, the MONICA data he showed does not prove non-association of cholesterol levels to heart disease because different races were compared. It is well established that genetics play a role in heart disease. He needs to show data within a race of people and plot heart disease vs cholesterol levels.

Found it - thanks. My cholesterol has always been in the low to mid 200's with low triglycerides. I'm on the young side, in shape and have no family history of heart disease. I don't smoke, eat mostly organic. Doctor wanted to put me on a statin. I wish the mainstream media would broadcast these results. I am sure there are a lot of people on a statin that don't need to be. If frustrating on my side because you don't know who to believe and want to do the best for your health.
