Correction. Its come to the PS3 now lol. One of the oldest and greatest franchise Imo. Maintaining a High standard from the 2D from 1989 to now 2008 is very difficult. Few games like Metal Gear, Prince Of Persia have managed to do so.

But you should know what just like movies these days, publishers are more interested in remaking franchises because it simply sells more. Its your choice man. As i said at the end of the Day no diff bett the new POP and AC. Even in AC the difficulty was CRAP. I was pwning the shit outta all the soldiers and the LAST MAIN Boss is the Worst. Atleast that's better in POP. So my suggestion would be Just toss up a Coin. If its heads get Prince Of Persia, Tails get Assassin's Creed...........Stays in the air...get Tomb Raider lol jokin.....

WARRIOR WITHIN was the Best Prince Of Persia because of heavy metal. I am with yaa buddy. Metal ROCKS. The main theme of Warrior Within even beats the main theme of Mafia IMO. Ofcourse New POP is like for ummm KIDS. So Metal won't suit it. But lets hope POP 2 has some kickass gameplay and music. AND ASSASSIN's Creed is a good game. But if you love POP like me DON'T GET IT. Its the WORST Game if you are a POP Fan. Else also its very repetitive. Get AC at your own risk. I personally hate AC.

No Death...No Frustration..But less fun. The reason is because to reduce the time taken to press the retry button, wait for the reload screen then repeat the same process to kill the boss. But the purpose its to enjoy the boss fight rather than button mashing to kill the boss. It its weird that you won't have the Prince health bar and game over screen but its wonderful scenic environment and the joy of exploring the place without boundaries or feel like trapped inside a room. Innovation is it?

This game had the potential of being a classic. The platforming in the game is on a high level, but the action combat and puzzle solving is weak.Add that to the fact the story is cheesy and narrated by actor's with california accents. Matt Mullins makes a good Drake, but playing the prince of persia it sounds obnoxious to hear that accent. And that script is even worse.

For the gameplay, i'm playing on a PC so i only need "R" "E" "Space" to peform combo's when fighting which get very boring. As for the graphics meh it's a mather of taste i guess. I don't get the PoP feeling when playing which i did had with the other games. Still it isn't that detailted and that amazing compared to other games, it's OK no more no less. To be honoust i don't find this game unique or refreshing, seriously this game is quite dissapointing. It's very...no, extremely easy and 90% of game you will be spending your time is jumping and climbing. Also there barely are enemy's. If you happen to see one then you can actually still decide to kill it before it spawns. They are weak you can kill it with one single "combo". Also I do not enjoy searching for orbs it's not my idea of fun! It's pointless and a big waste of time.

This game is entertaining, you will have some fun, but its a really pain in the ass defeating the same bosses over and over again, through the game you defeat this four monsters, wich once you get the idea of timming your block its a peace of cake, the combos are great, but the lack of enemys makes this game a 7.5/10. even if the graphics are gorgeus. oh and the storyline is lame, the tree of life was a great concept in OOT, but its not that original in pop. And the ending SUCKS BALLS

I ca only say the same thing as LittleDangrMouse. It takes not milking this game for what it's worth to judge it like that. This game is the most well-refined PoP game since the first SoT. Assassin's Creed suffered FAR worse from the repetition than this game did. Good quality is not found in challenge, but in good polish and execution, which this game nails; A lack of a challnge isn't worth anymore than nitpicking.

@ k0walsk Had the same problem: go to the top area where you fight the hunter and then climb on top of the wall (The one with the fertile ground on the oder side) and wotch towards the middle of the battle ground, there is a seed richt near the spining axis. I hope this helps it was my last seed and it took me forever to find it. Cheers dude

I'm not a troll.I love the POP series.And I was excited when I heard this new one was coming out.I felt uneasy when i heard about the cel-shade graphics and new storyline but I got used to both. The gameplay is really repetitive tho.The 1 on 1 fights seem more epic at 1st, but it gets boring even with the improved AI.I just didnt like this game at all. And the fact that it says "Sure contender for game of the year" on the back of the box makes me laugh. But w/e God of War 3 will cheer me up.

I disliked assassins creed and thought it was a broken game in many respects and it was all hype. Prince of Persia is a lot of fun, but If you have a ps3 or 360 you should rent it rather than buying it as the game only lasts about 12 hours and there isn't a huge amount of replay value. But If you like owning games and coming back to them later I'd say buy it. I own the PC version, It would probably play best with a controller though. Go ahead and buy it or rent it for sure

While I enjoy the story and style, I will admit that its too easy seeing as Elika will not just sit there and watch you die. And to everyone hating about how it is not about the "Prince of Persia", remember that there are going to be sequels and the "Prince" was still avoiding the answer of who he really was or where he exactly came from. Wait until you play or watch the sequels like you did the old games. I am intrigued by the story and will be anxiously awaiting the new one.

It is only one thing I never understood... Why are some people complaining about the fight system? Indeed, compaired to the WW is child's play BUT! Ubisoft only reintroduced the one-to-one combat system (similar to the very first game in the franchise) because FANS ASKED FOR IT! Whatever but its not in the LEAGUE of Prince of persia which has been since 1989 and setting high standards since 1989 in 2D till 2008 3D is not an Easy job. So games like God Of War, NG scoring high in 3D is not as great as POP scoring(ok not high as NG or GOW) but CONTANTLY Quite High is difficult. TMNT tried it. Contra Failed. All these games were best in 2D but worst in 3D. But POP never failed. Even the new one may not match up to SOT trilogy but its still a Good Game.
