Amy is amazing live! I saw in Chigago this summer as she opened for James. What people who are bashing her live performance don't realize that is her real voice with her Scottish accent. This is real! I was so dissapointed to hear the album version because her producers (or the powers that be) took her voice from her to sell records in America or where ever. I enjoy her album a lot, but after hearing her speak between songs at her show I realize how pathetic the music industry can be.

What makes this amazing is ,ore than just Adam's performance. The give and take of the band is so phenomenal. You can see it in all of the live versions. They pay such close attention to each other and to Adam which makes for that beautiful backdrop of sound behind the powerful lyrics.

Just THAT, the emotion, that's the thing that matters! Not how good you sing or anything like that (ofcourse, it has to be in tune). You don't have to be able to sing very good to be a real good singer! That's what I figured out during my life with music ;). If you only put in the emotion, that's the only thing that counts. But ofcourse, that can be MY opinion and you can think different about that. And then again, what "joewithteeth" said may be a really good advice to you. Regards!

True. Their only good major label album was the first one. Out of Time was disappointing, Automatic was maybe a bit better, but still not like the IRS days, Monster was AWFUL; at that point I quit listening and haven't heard anything since to make me change my mind and tune back in.
