Once again, excellent job explaining how the networks currently work. Obviously, there's the whole theory vs. practice thing. Everyone's free to use it how they want (within the limits of the website's capabilities) and not everyone is an expert on maximizing potential and not everyone wants to follow up on that potential. @pristinewaters: Friends aren't exactly a new invention, you know. If you have no friends you can always make some the way normal people do: by talking to people. Join a club or association, go to social events. You get to meet people AND do something you like, or learn something useful. Work on your social skills if you need to. Yeah, they keep your photos really safe. No they don't. Remember the little incident where private photos on flickr became public for some hours, due to a bug? I recommend not uploading photos which you would mind some stranger seeing. There are other ways to backup, like burning them on a cd. Anyway, there is no other convenient way of sharing a lot of photos with family who is far away :/

the reaoon for the electoral college -i guess- is to have a balanced weight and if we did it by votes only then there will be some disputes and variables (understandable) but i think the other reason is because the rule was made in the early years of the U.S. it was too hard to count all the votes but now that we have electronics we might change it someday

I still don't quite understand what you are mad at, the popular vote or politics in general? I don't think we are on the same page. The political party who win the popular vote wins the electoral votes for that state. If there is something wrong with the voting system it is in the popular vote: miscounting, misrepresenting, or misplacing votes. Not the Electoral College in itself.

You can't really pay off the electoral vote, the state's share is given to the political party who wins the popular vote, and they sure aren't going to risk their votes on someone who may be influenced by the opposing party. Believe me I have met one of the electors, he was a teacher at my school and ran the Democrat party's fund raising and such in St. Louis a few years back(don't know if he still does). Oh well, ya. There is no reason for this system to remain though. We not have the tech to count everyones vote. The only reason to have the electorial college (the most important part of the electorial process that was somehow omitted from this crappy documentary) was that we could not count everyones votes in time.
