If it did you would actually be paying more than what you would if you just tipped appropriately. The way it is now you get to decide what the service is worth which is usally worth more than nothing. Like it or not thats the pay structure in eating establishments and its best for everyone. Other jobs products and services are priced in part to reflect the pay recieved by itsstaff
