Seriously 'THE PRESTIGE' Is The BEST Movie I`ve Ever Seen! I didnt like the first 30 mins. i thought its gonna be normal but I was positively SHOCKED with the rest of it,the movie is excellent in general but the thing is that I didnt like & see it as a weak-point of the film is turning the movie from a True magic tricks to fantasy or abnormal things happened in the film,im talking about the Clonning Machine,I think if it was replaced with something realistic it would`ve been WAY better. 10/10

Hat multipliers, no, but I wouldn't doubt if Tesla had a cat multiplier :D He was one of the greatest geniuses ever - His reality was as amazing as the folklore about him. Years after he died, he was declared the inventor of the radio by the US Supreme Court. Plus, he had lots of ideas on "free energy" (as portrayed on a movie). And Bowie is a genius too :)

Aren't/weren't Edison and the mafia US govt one of the same. They burned down more of Nikola's labs and yet time and time again, he bounced back on his feet uneffected until they blew up his baby, the Wardenclyffe Tower in the early 1900's and due to lack of funding for this brilliant man of all time, he could not restore it nor keep his lab. It pains me to know what his final years were like so alone. Such a beautiful soul and so misunderstood!

Thank you for giving true thanks to our Beloved Nikola Tesla! The 1980 movie The Secrets of Nikola Tesla was/is brilliant and the actor had Nikola down to an art. If you haven't seen it, RENT IT big time but be warned, it may fuel your passion for Tesla more so. It sure did mine! Bowie tried but sucked and clearly knew nothing of Nikola! This is DIFFERENT from the Bordens, they LIVE for their passion, they escape through their magic. Angier and the Bordens, the two sides are obbsessed different things. Therefore if Angier used one clone and the two of them worked the way the Borden twins did, they would both thirst for always being the one under the applause. The fact that Angier would rather risk sacrificing himself as opposed to the adoration of the audience indicates how obbsessed the poor man truly was.

nomadsnapper It's not a fault in the plot of the movie...Angier DOES copy Borden's trick earlier on with a double - the alcoholic actor Root. But we see that he can not stand being below the stage while the double laps up the attention and applause of the audience. In the end of the film he says to Borden "don't you know what all this was for?It was the look on their faces" Angier is obbsessed with the feeling he obtains from astounding his audience.

I agree - No one is at Bale's standards. He's so proffessional and completely becomes any character whose part he takes on. In American Psycho - his performance was exceptional. It always is, I loved him in this film. He is by far my favourite actor.

very very good, if you are looking for a slim version of this kind, watch The Illusionist with edward norton, wich is great 2! I also recommend Memento (same director) which i prefer just a little more than The Prestige. anyone knew that Tesla was played by David Bowie? :)

What annoys me about prestige mode is that the icons aren't listed anywhere and there isn't a number or something to clearly signify what rank of prestige you are on. I know a few of them, but I'm not in prestige mode yet and I find it interesting to wonder who's completed prestige mode more times. It should give you prestige but there's no clear indicator...too bad.

De hecho, hay muchos vídeos en You Tube que cuentan el final de esta película. Yo solo me he limitado a poner mi escena favorita de la peli, nada más. Además, en el título pone clarísimo que el vídeo es el final de la película, y en la descripción advierte que vean el vídeo los que no hayan visto la peli si no quieren saber el final, así que obvio que no quería arruinarle a nadie la película como tu dices.

I do not have the time to tell EVERYONE who asks (and it's a lot, believe me) where I buy my products. Drugstore products are sold in different stores depending on where you live, which is why I recommend Google. It's just as easy for YOU to look for the information yourself than for me to try to figure out where you live in order to answer your question. But if you MUST know, I bought this at Fred Meyer. And yes, I WAS tired. *lol*
