3:28 Mark Knopfler conducting the Dire Straits orchestra. Not only is he one of my fav guitar players ever, whether you like their music or not (what's not to like?) I think they're the best live band ever. Their live versions are better than the studio ones, and that's how it should be. But nowadays there are no more real compositions, and live they usually play a track.

Ricky is my favorite guitarist, actually. Until I heard "Debbie" I didn't think much of Keith's style, though. Until then it seemed to me as if he was just part of a backing band because after Ricky died it seemed to me like they didn't focus on the instruments as much as the singing. Both Ricky and Keith are great guitarists!

His rythm guitar style is unique. So simple yet so funky and precise. Keith knew how to play guitar too, and Fred and the girls...well, you're watching 'em. This band must be on the top 5 bands of the late 70's early 80's. Funny, excentric, inventive and a lot more.

Thanks! I didn't know that. That's good to know that they got some kind of recognition!! Their first 2 albums(B-52s, Wild Planet) were so influential that I think they should be in the Rock 'n Roll hall of fame just for those 2 albums.
