i am writing an essay on how proactive is not a good product and i had to read every single comment hear and divide then into 5 groups. 2 of them were negative and positive. i agree with the negative group. eve though i never tried it, my research shows me that proactive is not good for your skin. most of the positive people did not use proactive for more then 1 year or so. and gave of the negative use it for more then 2 r so years, at first it worked for them but then it stopped and there skin

I haven't seen it bleach anything and it actually smells good to me, lol. And if your skin was really dry (read back of bottle) says to only use once a day to every other day if dryness occurs.

I'm just glad I finally stopped my severe acne just by doing this and I don't have to buy products for the rest of my life to keep me in shape. Although I forget to use it sometimes, i still usually use it night and day.And i think its natural but im seeing worsening. I always get these kinds of treatments where it gets worse than better but i dont know if its the product, or if im using it wrong. Proactiv had its time here in NYC, I even used it after a Brasilian friend (Brasilian women seem to take their skin pretty seriously) suggested its use for preventing and getting rid of any acne issues. Used as directed and nothing, just dried my face out and tightened my skin. Soon after my friend called me up an told me to stop using it. These spokespeople get paid millions (FACT!) to lie on camera. And why wouldn't they? Its a great deal, practically free money.

I used proactive when it first came out and it really worked. I liked it because it pretty much cleared my skin in like 2 weeks and it's not one of those get worse before it looks good. it really is cool ever since i was younger and used it i never really had break outs or anything after that and i stopped using it because my skin was perfect. anytime i have a pimple now i just put a little bit of the stuff on and it clears up in about 2 days.

Her incorrect grammar in this ad annoys me. It's FEWER PIMPLES not LESS PIMPLES. You use less for singular things on a continuum. Like for example you would say LESS hair on her head but FEWER hairs on her legs. In this case what she says makes no sense since the correct grammatical form would be 'less pimple on my face' since the noun is always in the singular form when used with less. Very irksome. yeah, proactiv solution works for SOME people, not all.... be very very careful... i have used Benzoyl peroxide gel 5% concentration, and it DID not make me break out, so i thought why not give proactiv a go.... made me break out, and i have NEVER had that many p!mples at once! Give it a try, but be careful, i still have scars...(its been over 5 months now)

Thank you for posting this. I just started using ProActiv yesterday, and I've already started seeing results! That other step you were talking about, the oil control, sounds perfect for me because I have very oily skin. A lot of people complain that ProActiv dries their face out, and for me it will at first, but a couple hours later I'm oily again because my skin has always been that way. Anyway, thanks! im using it now. the 2nd makes my face dry as fuck so i used moisterizer and that made it oily again. i guess it does get rid of the acne but i get dark markes on my face which take about a month to go away. the booklet says this is normal but i dont know. also, if you miss a day or a night or something of putting it on you get pimples right away. so unless you use it everyday and night it doesnt seem to do a whole lot.
