this is just something to say. i dont know if you really consider it relating to the whole diversity thing but here go's nothing. in dragon quest 8 when you fought the dumbells (the things that actually look like bells) they would keep calling for more and more backup of the same type of monster! if you ask me thats not very diversified!

Considering how the translation/localization of IV DS was treated in Europe/US was treated, the only good way to play DQV outside of Japan may still be the translated SNES/PS2 games after the DS games release in those regions.

I hope so...I'm tired of having to use an emulator to play this game. The one thing this game did really have though like you mentioned was very diversified monsters- usually they almost always have one to two types of monsters on the field in most DW or DQ games, but jeez..I've had an encounter with 4 types once! Can't wait until they bring it here.

I am certainly sure they will release this splendid game in USA soon because almost the entire fun of Dragon Quest demanded to play it totally in DS(you know business comes first with benefit lol). If they allowed DQ IV to come out then I supposed DQ V will come out here in USA pretty soon too. Moreover, the graphics, diversity of monsters' rate and the attributes of role playing are more enjoyable and entertaining than the usual version in SNES which is certified as one of very best game of DS.
