well, technically the universe, to us, is only as large as light can travel during the age of the universe. it has a border but the universe itself could be larger due to spacetime expansion rates, but unless we break the light barrier, the universe will always appear to end at some point :) whether it actually ends, or not.

@TheGrEATdEFENDeR77 i totally agree. scientists estimate there is a total of 100 billion galaxies, but there might be many more. however, if we will meet extraterrestrial life, it will be from our own galaxy. it is very unlikely that we will ever meet life forms from other galaxies. the distances are far too big. even within our own galaxy, travelling by light speed from one end to the other would take about 100,000 years. and to the next galaxy Andromeda, it would take about 2.5 million years.

thank you for posting this. amazing... but the size of the universe does not stop with the milky way. it is estimated that there are about 100 billion galaxies in the known universe - as an average, each consisting of about 100 billion stars. considering this, it would be a logical conclusion that there must be life in many other places, too - rather that our planet is the only one with life in this incredbly huge universe. but even if there is life out there... maybe we will never know.

Simply because the universe is large doesn't mean anything here on Earth is insignificant. Why must something be on a universal scale before it counts as significant? Besides, if our inability to affect the entire universe means we're insignificant, it goes both ways. The entire universe outside our solar system could explode at once and not affect us either. Awesome game. I recommend getting it. And in it, superman's powers have been redistributed through magic (his only other weakness besides kryptonite) so that characters like the joker and catwoman can put up a fight. Superman is my favorite character to play, and Doomsday and Lobo are said to be downloadable by Xmas this year.

Typically people don't cover songs because they can't come up with their own material. Clearly Fiona Apple does fine writing her own material. They cover songs in tribute. Also, this song ws recorded for a film soundtrack so it's very possible Fiona was commissioned to do it or she had to get them a song quickly.

Plus there are many things that jsut can't be explained in history. There's no such thing as creation theory (or intelligent design theory or whatever). Science reaches conclusions based on evidence. Creationism already has a conclusion, and tries to bend or ignore the evidence to suit that conclusion.

Even so, I think it is the "simplification" of the theory that troubles me. The way they try and describe it goes against logic (at least if feels so) . In a way this is too complex for me to show how I mean in a comment box, regarding sphere of influence and alignment of the planets in that sphere and how gravity affects them. Parts in this video also seems to claim gravity is not a force but just a "curvature", which would falter in said sphere and not single plane. Agree it is to simplified.

The single plane exists only between two distinct objects. New/different planes exist between other objects. For example, the sun exists on a time/space plane with the Earth, while at the same time exists on a time/space plane with Venus, another with Mercury, and others with each of the other planets. Einstein equates gravity and light. Why? Light is made up of electrons and travel at a constant speed. Gravity is not made of electrons, it is a state of force something that exist because of a mass/weight, remove that mass/weight it WOULD instantly remove the force. The theory of relavitity might not be true. The talk about light being faster than gravity. Where is the proof of that? Also if the Sun has this sphere of "influnce" gravity that extends around the planets in the solar system like a circular force they are contained inside. if you remove the sun that influence/force would be gone in an instant and therefore no longer under that influence the rotational pull and speed would make the planets leave the "old" orbit instantly.can't explain here.

Look, if the sun keeps all our planets in the solar system in it's gravitational pull cause of "curvature" it would make sense if Space was one plane, a flat plane where a spherical object creates a curvature that things want to move towards the center. The problem lies in that the space is not one single plane, a sheet of fabric if you will. It is in all directions "spherical" in a matter of speaking. Somehow his theory seems to have a flaw in it. I can't put my finger on it. It is just how it has to do with multiple objects and their weight/mass and displacement. Seeing this video it show the "fabric of space" on a single plane, like one large stretched out canvas. That is obviously wrong since there is no direction in space. There would be no "curvature" of space but a spherical area around the sphere that exert a force pulling any object towards it.
