I had the great luck to play a couple shows with Eddie in WI. He knew our steel player and filled in with us. Even though he was way out of our league, he never acted as such. It is so cool he was able to hook up with Asleep.

I've known Dom (the banjo player) for about 7 years. He's an amazing musician and writer. And I kid you not, every time I saw him, he was strapped into his banjo or guitar, or had his bones or harmonica in his hand, always ready to bust out some music. There's a true musical heart for you!

this group is sooooo tight. i have never seen a style this original for this day and time. i'm 29, and i have liked some bluegrass, but this is so tough. i mean, it's good to know that there are people in my generation who aren't caught up in what everyone else says is "good" or what "sells." this is so awesome, and i admire their musical skills and their originality and depth. who would have thought - a stinged remix of blu cantrell! the world needs more genuineness like this!

Hey People- Alejandro Escovedo, is from Huntington Beach, California-that is where he was raised. At one show he said he "survived" it. I can understand that, being from So. Cal. He adopted Austin, Texas after spending time in San Francisco, and New York. He is a beautiful musical genius with many records-all outstanding. He is very deep, CHECK HIM OUT!

I don't think Patsy sang anywhere near as good as KD. In fact it's my opinion that there are/were more than a few girls out there who outsing Patsy including Linda Ronstadt. Patsy was a great singer but her true greatness wasn't her voice as much as it was her individuality. She was and remains unique as well as one of the best vocalists that ever graced a recording studio.

I just back from Nashville and Kenny was filling in with a band called The Travis Mann Band. They were great. Kenny Vaughn is the best guitarist that I have every seen or heard. He sings rather well too!

Go Marty Go!!! Marty and The Fabulous Superlatives are the best country/rockabilly/blues band out there today!!! These guys are amazing, I had the honor of seeing them perform at the Grand Ole Opry in April while in Nashville with my school band, even though I had never heard of him before that and though they only performed for like 15 minutes, I am now a huge fan of him and his amazing band. Marty and Superlatives- You guys are the best, rock on!!!

I saw Marty Stuart and the Superlatives FEB 1st, 2008, in Glasgow, KY! Fantastic performance! Marti is great on the mandolin, (and guitar), Kenny Vaughan is GREAT too! They put on a show almost 2 hours long, and I won't miss them again! If you or anyone else gets a chance to see them live, GO! Marty and the band is wonderful! David

musically everything is fantastic here! Talking politics and religion is another thing,I envy you for that in New York. Actually miner200,I saw a fantastic bluegrass girls group in Austin,"Uncle Earl"two of them are from the Boston area. If i'd follow my heart i'd pack my bags and follow one of them. You know it's not just Bobby's tatent that is so amazing, but the wonderful musicians he surrounds himself with and the top flight songs he choses to do. Love the guy. I play steel guitar, myself, but I couldn't even "carry this guys picks to work", which is an old musician's way of saying, I REALLY respect his ability. What a talent!! Better voice than the originals(Bush or Price), solid arrangements featuring ALL instruments, versatile on several strings, wonderful on the fiddle and a personality of quiet confidence that you can connect with. I have seen him perform to a crowd in the park, and in Big Spring the night the fire marshall went on vacation and he gives it all in each case.
