All 3 of her routines were brilliant in different ways, but this is a Contemporary dance with 2 Contemporary dancers, and "The Garden" is a Jazz dance with 2 Jazz dancers, so they'd obviously have batter technique than a Contemporary dance by a Breaker and a Ballroom dancer.

well what do you really expect? they arent brazilian, and there is no way they can learn a true samba in only two or three days, which is all they have to learn the dance, so they learn an EXTREMELY modified version. its entertaining and fun anyways.

The Dance is awsome there was a lot of energy in the begining flowing through them. I sorta do agree with Mia, b/c if she didnt smile as much there would have been a whole lot more energy and a calming effect with emotions, It's like dancing with acting a whole new level, but thats my opinion.

Wow! wut a dance! it was so beautifully done. Although i can see were mia is coming from, i think she is wrong. she is so used to having her dances be so fierce and sad/angry, she forgot how happy they can be too. I cried at this and i'm a 15 year old boy! jeeze i wish i were on this show

honestly, everything they said is right. Phillip is just all about the moves, not at all about beat riding. hes more of a "look what i can do" more than "let me see what i can do." all the idiots, including the judges, who don't know the proper criteria for a battle give this to the double-jointed dumbass. Philip is clearly the better popper. He was more on beat, he didn't go over counts, his angles were much better, and his freestyle actually required skill and creativity. A repetition of recycled and plagiarized crowd-pleasers isn't winning a battle. Philip wins hands down.

he felt he didnt have enough experience to actually learn choreography, since he always choreographed his own routines which were mostly just flexibility and popping without other types of dancing.

He is incredible. But Nigel is the only one who ran with the "untrained" story. Josh listed that he had formal training on his Fox bio, mentioned it on the show, and in interviews early in the competition. He just hasn't had steady or intensive training like some might. More off and on, summer workshops, etc. And he had training in hiphop, but Nigel turns his nose up at that. Not "real" training, you see. Nigel's an idiot. That said, both of them outdo themselves in this piece. Beautiful.

no wonder joshua won!! he deserved it 100% but i still am sad that twitch didn't win but all of the dancers on this show are amazing and i can feel the pain or happiness as they step through these dance numbers. they danced it brilliantly and they both deserved to come as far as they did and i applaud katee and joshua because they just brought so you think you can dance to a whole new level

I disagree. She pulled Twitch through the Paso Doble, and I think that she was so dedicated that she deserved to get as far as she did. She and Twitch helped each other, though Twitch is on a WAY higher level when it comes to adaptability. He really should have won. :/

The judges created this whole dynamic with Will and Jess where fans were taking sides and always pitting them against each other. "Oh he sucked...wtf are they talking. She was way better." I could give less then a damn what the judges say. I let me eyes tell me what's what. I never seen a pair so doomed on SYTYCD, damned by the judges and by the fans.
